In a exciting kick off for the summer season, FDR Four Freedoms Park brings back Imagination Playground and the Uni Project for four weekends, beginning this Saturday. It's free, generously sponsored by Amalgamated Bank.

According to Four Freedom's press office...

"Playground is a mobile, interlocking block-based play system designed to encourage child-directed free play. Imagination Playground allows children to dream, build, and explore endless creative possibilities, transforming any space into a play space.

"The Uni Project brings its architect-designed portable reading room to the Park and provides access to books and drawing materials. A New York City-based non-profit designed to create community in public spaces, the Uni Project has been temporarily installed in a variety of public city locations, including plazas and parks."
