July 12th, Manhattanhenge Returns to FDR Four Freedoms Park - with Friends

FDR Four Freedoms Park's annual Manhattanhenge event is enhanced for 2017 when new features join the great sundown playing of Mitch Frohman Latin Jazz Quartet and tasty food. This year, it's more than just a spectacular community gathering along the river as the sun sets.

"This event," FDR Four Freedoms announced, "bringing the natural solar cycle together with our local built environment, will feature a talk by Caroline Weinberg, co-organizer of April’s March for Science, on the importance of free speech and expression in the sciences; an Instagram challenge judged by Instagram influencer @field_condition; and a visit by the traveling installation DREAM WALL NYC, which invites visitors to submit their dreams for a better world, creating a constellation of ideas."

All activities are free (except the food!), sponsored by  Four Freedoms Park in partnership with Center for Architecture as they join to kick off Archtober, NYC’s month-long celebration of architecture and design.

Registration required: Go to the event webpage to let them know you're coming and to find more details.
