November 20th, AdvantAge Survey Findings, CBN/RI Senior Center

A year ago, the Visiting Nurse Service and the Carter Burden Network teamed up on a comprehensive survey to find out what Roosevelt Island seniors had on their minds. Now, the results from that year-long effort are in, and the partners are ready to tell us what they found. A public session is on tap for Wednesday, November 20th, from 2:00 to 3:00. You're invited.

"The ultimate goals for the AdvantAge Initiative is nurturing an "elder-friendly community" addressing basic needs, optimizing physical and mental health well-being, promoting social and civic engagement, and maximizing independence for frail and disabled individuals," we wrote at the time.

Now, we get to see how that worked out.
