Briefly, We Get the Service We Need

MTA Holiday Bonus for Roosevelt Island

MTA Holiday Bonus for Roosevelt Island

Sure, it's only for five days and during a low demand holiday week at that, but the MTA is giving us a glimpse of the service we could and should have all year.

Beginning at 5:00 a.m. December 26th, as many of us head back to work after the long Christmas weekend, E Trains join Fs for full time service to and from Roosevelt Island in both directions.

The change in service intended to help the MTA lessen traffic on the E Line while undertaking various repairs will last until 8:00 a.m. on December 31st.

E Train traffic will be diverted onto the F Line from Jackson Heights/Roosevelt Avenue all the way to West 4th Street in Greenwich Village.

Enjoy it while it lasts!

Hudson's Lousy Holiday Spectacle

Hudson’s lousy holiday spectacle for 2017 exceeds expectations in reverse. In 2019, we asked, “$75,000 for that?” Two years later, it’s WTF? That’s as clear as we can make it, suitable for all ages. The Big Picture: Roosevelt Island News In October, 2017, RIOC president Susan Rosenthal teamed with Hudson’sContinue Reading
