The Four Freedoms as articulated by former U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt are; Freedom of speech, Freedom of worship; Freedom from want; and freedom from fear.

These Four Freedoms remind us of who we are as Americans, and emulate the values we espouse throughout the world.

With all of the turmoil that is literally rocking our government, guarding these Freedoms is most important now because the rest of the world is watching very closely.

Why is everyone looking?

Because America is the great experiment of democracy and freedom, and when any component of such an important experiment is being challenged and/or perverted people all over the world internally shiver with fear, because they know that if our foundation is being shaken, then theirs may outright crumble.

This is not the time to take anything for granted or the time to assume that things will work out because they always do.

This is a time to prove to ourselves and show the world that we value being American and we value the premise that this country was founded upon.

A blind eye or conscious indifference can lead this Country down a path that can undo all that America stands for, and all that Americans have proudly showcased and preserved.

As such, let’s challenge ourselves to be fearless, to speak when we need to speak, to be proactive with guided spirituality and to deliberate with a sense of mission and not only monetary gain.
