Free Breast Cancer Screening, December 5th, CBN/RI Senior Center

Breast cancer is the second most diagnosed cancer among women. Mammograms can help. The Carter Burden Network offered a free screening to anyone over 40 - men included - on December 5th at the CBN/RI Senior Center, 546 Main Street.

According to the American Cancer Society, "Women ages 40 to 44 should have a choice to start yearly screening mammograms if they would like. Women ages 45 to 54 should have a mammogram each year and those 55 years and over should continue getting mammograms every 1 to 2 years."

Breast cancer screenings are a free service from the Carter Burden Network and will be offered from 10:00 a.m until 4:00 p.m. on the 5th.
