They're unplanned, but now predictable. Governor Andrew Cuomo's annual highway rescue and/or intervention took place yesterday on the Brooklyn Queens Expressway. And we've got video.

According to The Gothamist, Knife-Weilding Highway Hero Andrew Cuomo ordered his State Police escort to stop when he spotted a catering truck near tipping over after an accident on the BQE.

This was not a first intervention nor was it the first time a staffer was on hand with a camera to record the event with the boss featured squarely at the center.

A governor who takes action is not a bad thing, but you have to wonder what became of the first responders - who said they were on the scene quickly - while the men in suits did their thing.
