In Memoriam: Monsignor John M. McCarthy (1929 - 2019)

Monsignor John M. McCarthy, first pastor of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini R.C. Church on Roosevelt Island, died Wednesday in the Cardinal O’Connor Clergy Residence in the Bronx, where he had lived for the last five years. He was 89.
