With "Wind in The Willows," MST&DA Finds A Way

Main Street Theatre & Dance Alliance is reinventing their MST&DA Children’s Theatre spring musical performance to adjust to the limitations brought on by the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Running for almost 40 years, this is the largest performing arts educational program on Roosevelt Island.

MST&DA presents a virtual performance for the first time of their new MST&DA Children’s Theatre Spring Musical, The Wind in the Willows Movie Project. Live on Vimeo, performances take place, starting on May 29th.

To pull this off, MST&DA partners with Park Boulevard Productions, a top notch production company that's worked on Broadway events and throughout New York and Los Angeles.

This partnership is groundbreaking for MST&DA, providing performance opportunities for their nearly 60 young actors in the program. It enables live performances before their families, friends and community and extends their usual audience well  beyond the 99 seats of The Howe Theatre in the Roosevelt Island Community Center.

  • Friday, May 29, 7pm: CAST 1
  • Saturday, May 30th, 7pm: CAST 2
  • Sunday, May 31st, 7pm: CAST 3
