A single payer health care plan for New York? Learn more on January 10th

On January 10th at 1:00, the CBN/RI Senior Center, 546 Main Street, hosts a discussion about the New York Health Act, a universal, single-payer health care plan that will provide comprehensive health care coverage for all New Yorkers, now pending in the State Senate. All are invited, regardless of age.

If the bill is passed, all New York residents, regardless of immigration status, will be covered for primary, preventive, and specialty care; hospitalization; mental health; dental, vision, and hearing; and prescription drugs and medical supplies.

Its sponsors invite you to join them on January 10th to learn more and ask that you call your senators to show support.
