July 18th, Photo Walk with Street Dreams Magazine, FDR Four Freedoms Park

Thursday, July 18th, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., bring your camera or smart phone and join Street Dreams Magazine for an evening of creative connection & community building in anticipation of Photoville 2019 with a photo walk at FDR Four Freedoms State Park hosted by New York's own Steven "Sweatpants" Irby + Raheim "Black Soap" Simon.

This event is produced in collaboration with United Photo Industries and coincides with Summer Sunset Thursdays, an evening inviting visitors to enjoy the twilight hours at the Park. This event is free and open to the public; registration is required.



Raheim Simon aka: Black Soap:
Brooklyn and Bronx native Raheim Simon developed his unique photographic style as an early Instagram user. Today he is publicly recognized as ‘Black Soap’ for his dark but clean photography aesthetic that calls to mind hip-hop and urban grit. Simon travels the world on creative projects — bringing his hometown with him through his photography.

Steven Irby aka: Steve Sweatpants:
Steven John Irby aka Steve Sweatpants is a self-taught street photographer + co-founder of Street Dreams Magazine born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, New York. A life long New Yorker, the core of everything associated with Steven is paying homage to his New York roots, through passion, transparency and creative integrity.


Street Dreams Magazine is a bi-annual print publication + creative agency founded in 2014. Street Dreams has emerged as one of the fastest growing networks on Instagram reaching over 12 million users of the #streetdreamsmag hashtag since the projects inception. With the explosive growth of the publication & the burgeoning popularity of photography, Street Dreams expanded its platform to include traveling gallery events, work shops, panel discussions & photo meets to drive engagement with its passionate fan base.
