PSD & Us: A Community Celebration of Cooperation and Respect

RIOC Public Safety Chief Jack McManus's retirement sparks a celebration recognizing the spirit of cooperation he championed. McManus is credited with healing community wounds he inherited while his charges maintained Roosevelt Island as the safest community in New York City.

"On Thursday, July 25th, the Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation (RIOC) will be hosting PSD & Us: A Community Celebration of Cooperation and Respect. Retiring PSD Chief Jack McManus will be honored at this event," a public announcement said on Monday.

"Festivities will be held from 6:00 – 9:00 PM this Thursday, July 25th at Manhattan Park Theater Club – 8 River Road.

"Come join us for light refreshments, live music, and great people."

To aid preparations for the celebration, RIOC asks that you email Terrence.McCauley@rioc.ny.gov by 5:00 today (Tuesday).
