The Roosevelt Island Tram's rarely crowded since New York PAUSE went into effect on March 22nd, shutting down most public activity, but there are sometimes enough riders to inspire caution. Tram operators have bravely carried on, ferrying passengers across the East River, and now, RIOC's making managing their jobs easier.

North to south, RIOC's set an exemplary standard for continuing operations at the highest levels of safety without suffocating residents. These steps improve on an already solid effort.
