Last Word on the Cherry Blossom Festival: RI Parents Network Kids Bloomed

Not all the news was bad on Cherry Blossom Festival Day. Cultural events in Four Freedoms Park were executed to perfection, and better late than never, the Rosevelt Island Parents' Network reported a happy and successful family picnic that included their regular, monthly, Craft With Kids.

RIPN's leaders shared "...a picture collage documenting the beautiful paintings and artworks created by lovely children on the beautiful day of Cherry Blossom Festival" with The Daily.

"Huge thanks to Kankana and Dawn for organizing and volunteering at the RIPN event table," a note added, "and huge thanks to all families that stopped by our table and enjoyed making art!"

We're happy to let that be the final word on the 2019 Cherry Blossom Festival.
