In June, Roosevelt Island Day is its own story as the community turns out in appreciation, forgetting disputes and politics, for a few sunny hours in Good Shepherd Plaza plus the pleasures of touching animal friends on the Rivercross lawn. We'll let the pictures tell it in activities we saw at around noon on Saturday.
