Avoiding criticism and anxiety engendered when it failed to notify residents that the filming of a TV episode, two weeks ago, would expose The Tram to a feigned arial attack, RIOC announced the NBC series, The Blacklist, will film here, this week, Monday through Friday. So, don't be alarmed if you spot police cars and officers pursuing bad guys fingered by James Spader.

The five year old series starring James Spader and Megan Boone is based on a universe of TV only premise that Red Reddington (Spader), a notorious career criminal, trades his freedom for accepting a mission of pursuing a list of the world's most dangerous criminals.

And not just that, he insists that he must work exclusively with an attractive, rookie FBI profiler, Elizabeth Keen, played by Boone.

In its sixth season, in production now, Reddington's after someone in the Cornell Tech neighborhood.

"The production company is expected to film several action sequences with actors portraying law enforcement officers, using police vehicles and equipment."

But the only note of real consequence for us is that parking along the West Loop Road will be limited for the duration.
