A Community Celebration for Chief Jack McManus

On Thursday evening, the Roosevelt Island celebrated a local legend. In only five years, PSD Chief Jack McManus left an indelible mark that changed a community, making it better. As friends from his career in public service added history to the event, Chief Jack turned in his badge... for the third time.

There were anecdotes and thanks all around. McManus touched many, young and old, and was a harbor of calm and kindness.
